The days are getting shorter and the weather is increasingly unpredictable, but that doesn't mean you need to stop riding. As the old adage goes, 'there's no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing'.
Well, with that in mind clothing brand Chapeau! pushed out its latest Autumn/Winter range aiming to keep people riding outdoors through the worst of winter.

Chapeau! headed out into the lanes and up the climbs of Dartmoor to, riding through the fallen brown leaves and gret skies of Autumn and early Winter.
Layered properly, the clothing has been produced to keep riders warm when all the leaves are gone and morning rides take place between icy verges and under threathening skies.

The Madeleine jersey, which leads the women's range, has been developed to double up as a jersey in its own on milder days or as a lower layer for the coldest winter days.
This, and the full range of men's and women's clothing, can be viewed here: chapeau.cc/autumn-winter-2017

The men's range is split across three categories: Club, Tempo and Echelon.
The Club line has been designed with a focus on winter performance and carries a thermal backed fabric that's been treated with a DWR coating.
Next comes the Tempo collection which sports raglan sleeves and is said to be for 'the contemporary cyclist'. These thermal items come in three plain and three striped versions.
Finally, the Echelon range offers lightweight and packable jackets and gilets to keep out the wind and rain.
A selection of the kit has landed in the Cyclist office, so check back over the next few weeks to see what whether we tip our hats to the winter range.
