Team Sky have revealed their 2018 race kit, with a permanent switch to white jerseys. The team rode and won the 2017 Tour de France in white and that design will now become their main kit for next season.
In a wise move, the British team have opted for black shorts below the new white jerseys. The kit is still supplied by Castelli and continues to feature the blue stripe up the back and the data pattern throughout.
The jerseys will once again carry each rider's name on the back of their jersey, as demonstrated in the team's photoshoot by Luke Rowe.
Rowe is currently recovering and rebulding fitness after an accident on his brother's stag do led to a broken leg.
It's unclear whether he'll be ready for the Classics, where he's able to ride for himself, but the team will be hoping to have their road captain back by the time the Tour de France comes round.
Also showing off his new jersey was team leader and four-time Tour de France champion Chris Froome. His season's plans have not been confirmed, although the organiser of the Giro d'Italia is keen to entice the rider to enter.
With a record equalling fifth Tour win a possibility, Froome would need to emulate his own Tour-Vuelta double with the more challenging Giro-Tour double to get there.
