Plenty of the talk surrounding Cannondale currently is over its newest bike that is set to officially launch later this year. Spotted at the Abu Dhabi Tour, we know that it will be an aerodynamic race frame, will be used by EF-Drapac and most likely it'll be called the SystemSix.
The excitement surrounding this bike is mainly due to it hinting at Cannondale's first venture in to the aerodynamic road bike market, something that sits within the arsenal of all its major competitors.
The excitement is also palpable because we are all wondering how it can improve on its outstanding SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod, a bike that you can ride at the Cyclist Track Days this year.

What makes the SuperSix Evo so impressive is its ability to be a jack of all trades.
Despite a classic geometry and the use of in-house componentry, a large SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod fitted with SRAM Red eTap still managed to weigh in at an impressive 6.7kg.
That makes it only 200g heavier than a Fuji SL 1.1 and 750g heavier than the Trek Emonda SLR 9, two bikes accepted as market leads in the weight-saving categories.
What makes the weight of this bike even more impressive is the simple fact it is not a specific climbing bike. The standard geometry is also aerodynamic and allows for fast and comfortable riding on the flats.
With a set of Cannondale's own HollowGram SL carbon wheels, this bike can gather speed relatively effort-free while also staying stiff at the bottom bracket and headset.

The Cannondale SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod will be one of the bikes available at the Cyclist Track Days in which you will be able to test the world's best bikes at four special events across three purpose-built tracks.
Held this Spring, you will get the chance to test the Cannondale SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod among other bikes from the likes of BMC, Canyon, Bianchi, Look, Specialized and many more.
Also on the day, ticket holders will be treated to a hot lunch, a Cyclist goody bag and most importantly unlimited cycling.
There will also be members of the Cyclist editorial and experts from the brands on site to talk you through the technical aspects of the bikes.
