LottoNL-Jumbo have joined Team Sky and Lotto-Soudal as teams tweaking their regular kit for the upcoming Tour de France. The Dutch WorldTour team will ride the three week race in a black jersey as opposed to its regular yellow look.
The team, sponsored by the Dutch lottery, have been unveiling the riders who will take to the line of the Grande Boucle next month each day via their Twitter page and also revealed this new look kit.
Like in 2015 and 2017, the team has been forced into adjusting its jersey in order for it not to clash with the yellow leader's jersey.
Therefore, the team has inverted its colours opting for a black torso with yellow sleeves very much like last season's Tour jersey.
On the first day, the team revealed Dutchman Steven Kruijswijk as the first rider confirmed for the race. This comes as no surprise with the former Giro d'Italia pink jersey wearer underlining the Tour as his major objective for 2018.
Since then, the team has also announced that sprinter and winner of Stage 21 of the 2017 Tour Dylan Groenewegen will also race alongside climber Robert Gesink.
Team Sky and Lotto-Soudal will also wear alternative jerseys at this year's Tour.
Belgian Lotto-Soudal will be referred to as New Lotto-Soudal in line with rebranding of the Belgian national lottery with a slight change of jersey to accompany.
Team Sky will see a drastic change as the British team join the fight 'to save the world's oceans' by promoting Sky Ocean Rescue via a new-look jersey complete with Orca whale printed on the back.
