The British champion has been presented a new frame for his victory and its stunning

As reward for winning the British men's road race last month, Connor Swift has been presented a special Genesis Zero SL in custom national championships colours and the end result is pretty stunning.

Genesis teamed up with frame painter Rob Nicholas, better known as Doktorbobby, of the ColourBurn studio in Bristol to produce a frame and finishing kit to celebrate Swift taking the national stripes in a surprise victory last month.

Swift took the national title following a strong solo attack in Northumberland at the start of July. Finishing ahead of Adam Blythe and Owain Doull, Swift became the first rider to win the national title outside of the WorldTour since Kristian House in 2009.

The frame has been given a Jackson Pollock-esque paint scheme with red and blue paint splatter over a white frame. Across the toptube is also a red and blue stripe joined by the rider's nicknamed 'Swifty' painted in gold, a particular request of the rider.

The end of the toptube has also been painted with the iconic British roundel and the date of Swift's National Championships victory.

A proud Yorkshireman, Swift also asked for some reminders of his home county on the bike with the rider commenting, 'I did ask for a few specifics which include having a Yorkshire rose on the seat tube of the frameset.

'This is due to being a proud Yorkshireman and I already put a Yorkshire rose sticker in that location on all of my bikes anyway.'

For this, Nicholas has included a subtle black Yorkshire rose among the frantic national paint scheme.

As a final touch, Swift also requested the quote 'Believe and you can achieve' to be painted on the stem stating, 'the quote relates to a book that I have read called "The Secret".

'Its a pretty motivational book talking all things from what you think about you bring about.'

Like before, the bike is complete with full Shimano DuraAce Di2, Shimano C50 wheels and Pro finishing kit.

Swift will get a chance to ride this piece of art this Sunday as he joins his Madison Genesis team at the Tour of Britain, starting in Pembrey Country Park, Wales.

This follows racing with WorldTour Dimension Data at the Arctic Tour of Norway as a stagiare earlier in the month.
