To celebrate Matteo Trentin's recent victory in the European Championships road race, Mitchelton-Scott have teamed up with bike provider Scott to create the Italian a simply stunning special edition Scott Foil.
Trentin won the white and blue jersey of European Champion by outsprinting cyclocross duo Mathieu Van Der Poel and Wout Van Aert in Glasgow last month.
This helped turn around a difficult season for the Italian, who sustained a fractured spine in April following a crash at Paris-Roubaix.
To honour the achievement, Scott has created this special edition Foil, with the design reflecting the colours of his European title jersey, along with subtle hints to Trentin's sons Giovanni and Jacopo, and his Italian nationality.

The frame has been produced in a gloss blue finish that fades from dark to white across the frame with the Scott logo outlined in gold on the down tube. Stars painted on the seatpost signify his European title.
The top tube has also been emblazoned with details, such as Trentin's name close to the seat tube together with an Italian flag and three gold stars.
Further towards the handlebars are two sets of footprints to remind Trentin of his young sons when racing.
Trentin's size medium Foil is also fully fitted with full Suncros components – a house brand of Scott – including the Syncros Foil seatpost, saddle, bar tape and Syncros Classic handlebar in a surprisingly narrow 40cm.
The bike is fitted with full Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 with Trentin having opted for hydraulic disc brakes. To round it off, the Italian is also upon a set of Shimano C60 wheels with Pirelli PZero tubular tyres to finish it off.

'To get a special edition bike is something every professional dreams about,' Trentin says. 'I am very grateful to Scott for not only providing me with such great equipment but also thank me with such a nice bike,' said Trentin.
'To have even the footprints of my sons on it makes it even more unique. I am really happy to race on it at the next races.'
Trentin will ride the new bike for the first time at the ongoing Vuelta a Espana which today sees the peloton tackle a 186km flat course from Ejea De Los Caballeros to Lleida.
