The three time World Champion is coming to London to sign his new book My World

Triple World Champion and all-around cycling megastar Peter Sagan is set to join the likes of Brian May, David Walliams and Barbra Windsor as the latest celebrity to appear at a Waterstones book-signing in London.

The Paris-Roubaix champion will be making his only UK appearance of 2018 next month to promote his new biography My World at the Waterstones store on Tottenham Court Road.

The charismatic Slovakian will be there between 1pm and 2pm on Thursday 4th October.

Sagan will be available to take pictures, shake your hand and sign his book but, be warned, Waterstones has warned that 'Peter's time will be strictly limited, and admittance to the signing queue will be available EXCLUSIVELY to customers who have purchased tickets in advance.'

It also added that selfies would likely be unavailable but a kind member of staff will be on hand to snap a pic for you. Additionally, Waterstone also warns - again in capital letters - that Sagan will only be signing copies of his latest book and not merchandise. Not even that pristine Slovakian National Champion Liquigas jersey from 2011 that you have neatly folded in your loft.

The privilege of meeting Peter will cost you £20 in advance of the event, but that does get you a copy of the book alongside a signature and picture with the big man himself. Tickets are on sale now and can be bought here.

The book will be launched on the day and promises to chart the progression of cycling's biggest star through his career, focussing not only on his 109 professional victories to date but also on the entertaining manner in which he presents himself.

Waterstones comment that 'Every moment in the saddle is an opportunity to express his personality, and nobody else has succeeded in making elite cycling look so much fun. From no-hands wheelies on the slopes of Mont Ventoux to press conference mischief with clamouring journalists, Peter exudes a passion for the sport and a lovable desire to bring smiles to the faces of his fans.'

If you seek tickets but find them to be sold out, do not be too disheartened. Instead, why not just pop along to Cyclist HQ which also happens to be on Tottenham Court Road?

For the price of £30, we can sort you a copy of our 'Big Rides' book signed by the whole team and we may even take you out for a coffee. I mean, anything to get out of the office for an hour!
