As featured in last month’s BikesEtc, the NanoTube Speed Film chain was developed by British firm Muc-Off to help Sir Brad Wiggins in his bid for Hour record glory last year. And now it’s available for you to buy for your own bike.
Each individual chain is painstakingly hand-treated at Muc-Off’s labs in Poole with exactly the same military-grade lubricant as used on Wiggo’s record-breaking bike, which promises to save up to 7 watts of effort and will last for over 400 miles of riding, with extra lube available to keep it topped up.
The Shimano-compatible speed-optimised chain normally costs £135, but thanks to our friends at Muc-Off, we’ve got one of these fantastic bits of kit to give away to one lucky BikesEtc reader!
