The summer solstice in the northern hemisphere is the point at which the sun reaches its most northerly point in relation to the equator. The week that follows is therefore the week in which we get the most daytime hours, and BMC is celebrating as such by encouraging people to enjoy it on its bikes.
There's no specific challenge, and to enter all you need to do is register with Kamoot, an interactive cycling map platform. Riders can ride as much or as little as they like, but participants must have uploaded their GPS data to Komoot by 11:59pm on the 26th of June.
A random entrant will be picked to win a Roadmachine bike - from BMC's latest 'do it all' range - with two runners-up in line to get a signed BMC Racing Team jersey.
